A message to my readers,
I’ve had a lifetime of experience in direct sales – from the ground up. I started in this industry as a frightened, insecure young mother, built a top sales group, and eventually headed the training department for the same company — Tupperware. There, I supervised events for 14,000 and created and presented small group training for top echelon leaders in the industry.
Tapping this extensive experience – I wrote a book that is fast becoming a reference guide for the industry. Now, as an independent consultant, I work with respected direct sales companies, spreading the word based on what I learned the hard way – by showing up every day.
I learned that the road to professional growth doesn’t “just happen.” It takes 4 actions:
- Doing it — again and again
- Staying focused on the end result — consistently
- Falling and getting up – rapidly
- Stretching out of my comfort zone – often
I also learned that it’s one thing to be blessed with wise and caring mentors, but it’s critical to listen to them. And yes, I believe I was helped by a bit of divine intervention along the way.
I know that impressive success comes when we have that “fire in our belly” that drives and sustains us. When logic says: For crying out loud, quit –it’s that small voice inside that says: You can do this.
The Blog allows me to:
- Reach out to you personally.
- Share what I’m thinking and feeling on a regular basis.
- Pass on wisdom gleaned from many sources over the years – as it comes to me.
- Connect” with others – unencumbered by formality or deadlines.
- Have the freedom to be real, spontaneous, and yes, from time to time, touchy-feely.
It also gives me a way of hearing from you – your thoughts, experiences, opinions, I LOVE that.
My Services I’m now focusing primarily on teaching others how to teach. It’s a new phase – passing on my accumulated knowledge and skills so that clients can influence many more I can’t imagine anything much more rewarding or exciting than that!
Pass the word.
And remember, no matter what happens that gets you down, the sun will come up in the morning – and your mother still loves you.
Francine
